  I used to enjoy coming here for scripts because they were fast. Not today!! I've waited inside for an hour while my spouse sits outside, in pain from surgery this morning. They said it would take a maximum of 45 minutes to approve the script and fill it because it was a narcotic. This is not right. I have had the same medications filled here and elsewhere and it never took more than 10-20 minutes. I don't know what's going on in this pharmacy but it needs some work. This is ridiculous.

  Everytime our son has been admitted to the hospital across the street & we have to have meds filled that the hospital does not carry, it literally takes hours. This time after having to pay cash price for a med we had just picked up a few days before & a surprise admit. When we showed up an hour later as they told us it would be ready within an hour, the med was not filled because insurance did not go through. Then we were told it would be at least another hour before it could be filled because there policy is to not fill it until the customer shows up if insurance does not pay. We had already explained on the phone that he was admitted & had to have it tonight regardless of insurance. We "were there" but she told us she had to fill 6 other scripts before placing the label on our childs med that was already in her hand, with his script already pulled up. Pharmacist was very nice, night tech needs some customer service skills. Walgreens also does not accept good rx price. Med was $147 at walgreens, good rx price of around $45 & she also told me that the price was still around $130 with good rx coupon.
